We want to ensure that our products do not damage the indoor climate of our end users. The Indoor Air Climate certification ensures that our products emit even less than strict market requirements from the entire European market. Thereby it is a quality mark that protects users from chemicals that can be potentially harmful to health.

The Indoor Air Climate - Gold certification documents that our products comply with requirements for VOC emission from for example; BREEAM, BREEAM-NOR, LEED, M1 as well as a number of criteria from voluntary labeling schemes, such as EU-Ecolabel; "Blomsten" as wellas the international German "Blaue Engel".

With our FSC®-certification we have improved control over our upstream value chain, and with the Indoor Air certification, we meet chemical and emission requrements that contribute to a healthier indoor climate.
In fact they are two very important elements in order to achieve our next certification: the Nordic Swan Ecolabel.
But the ecolabel is more holistic than that!
It certifies the entire life cycle of the product and thereby also includes a focus on using limited energy consumption and that the production facilities meet strict environmental requirements. And that we as manufacturers investigate how we can extend the product's life and ultimately that the product can be recycled safely.

B Corp aims to change the world for the better. To create a movement of companies with a common goal of using business to make a positive difference to society. The B Corp certification is carried out by the non-profit organization B Lab, which sets high standard in transparency, social and environmental responsibility. It is a certification that goes into and analyzes 360 degrees of the company in 5 focus areas: employees, customers, management, society and the environment.

B stands for "Benefit for all".

Science Based Targets initiativet (SBTi) defines a direction of companies to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and intends to support the development of preventing the worst consequences of climate change.
For HORN, our commitment to SBTi means security that we have future-proofed our company's growth journey to comply with requirements for CO2 minimization. Companies' CO2 minimization goals are considered to be in line with SBTi it they meet the goals of the Paris Agreement to limit global warming to 1,5°C above pre-industrial levels.
