Daily cleaning is done with a damp cloth. It is recommended to follow up with a wipe with a dry cloth to avoid limescales (especially on dark mineral countertops).

A damp cloth with a mild universal detergent will remove stubborn dirt. Remove the excessive detergent with lukewarm water and wipe it off with a soft, dry cloth.

Abrasive or acidic products should be avoided, as they will counteract the surface treatment.(these must be removed immediately with plenty of water)!

Use 5% vinegar in a 1:1 concentrate with water to remove limescale.

For a more thorough cleaning, we recommend HORN’s Eco-Clean.

In general all stains and strong chemicals should be removed immediately to maintain a uniform surface.

Mineral countertops is not scratch resistant, and a cutting board should always be used.

Minor, visible surface scratches cannot be avoided during everyday use on a unicoloured smooth surface. Minor scratches can be minimized with regular use of HORNs Installation and Maintenance kit for Mineral surfaces.

Mineral countertops is not heat resistant. Always use trivets or similar.

Please note: pot and pans shall be carefull in the hob area, since heat can make the mineral countertop to crack.

Has a closed, non-porous and hygienic surface that is resistant to liquids.

Highly coloured foods may cause stains on particularly light mineral countertops. These should be removed immediately.
