Integrated in the countertop

Compliment your countertop choice with a sink from leading suppliers of quality sinks. When you choose a sink from our range, you always get a sink that is integrated into the countertop. We recommend this solution, as it gives a nice and exclusive look, but also because you avoid a sink that is placed on the countertop with a visible edge that can collect dirt around it.

Does it fit in the cabinet for the sink?

Your kitchen consultant will advise and guide you to make the right choice that suits both your style and the dimensions of your kitchen. However, you can first check that the sink fits the cabinet size, as this will determine the size of the sink basin you can choose. We helped you by noting whether the sink fits a cabinet size maximum: 40, 50, 60 or 80 cm.

Which material to choose?

At HORN you can get sinks in steel, composite and with a PVD coating. There are advantages and disadvantages to all materials. In general, however, the different manufacturers have come a long way in terms of quality and durability, so we recommend that you choose a sink that suits your style. However, always remember to read our advice and guidance on care and maintenance.

Composite sinks

The composite sink is the common name for a Silgranite sink from Blanco, a Fragranite sink from Franke, a Cristalite sink from Intra Juvel. We also carry our own HORN range of composite sinks. All are produced in a mixture of granite and acrylic. The standard color in the HORN range across all brands is a dark grey/black anthracite. If we show other colors as standard, this will be indicated. However, you always have the option to request colors outside of our range (these will be listed on the supplier’s own website).

NOTE: The recommended minimum countertop thickness of composite sinks is 30 mm. Composite sinks can be installed in thinner countertops, but be aware that the sink may be thicker than the countertop thickness, so it may be necessary to adapt the sink to the cabinet or use support strips.
