Daily cleaning is easily done with a wrung-out cloth in clean, warm water.
Limescale deposits around for example mixer taps can be removed using ordinary vinegar.
Unlike granite, the surface of ceramic countertops is non-porous and unlike composite the material does not contain resin. Ceramics are therefore extremely easy to maintain and resistant to chemical substances.
Ceramics are stain resistant which means that even the most stubborn stains such as wine, coffee, marks and rust can be easily removed.
Splashes from e.g. bleach, drain cleaner or oven degreasers will not leave lasting damage.
Thorough cleaning of your stone countertop
For thorough cleaning, Q-action is recommended which removes stains from e.g. wine and oil. Q-Action also contains caring components that protect and enhance the shine.
Q-Action: Powerful soap for basic cleaning of stone surfaces. Instructions for use:
- Spray Q-Action on the surface in a thin even layer.
- Let Q-Action sit for approx. 1 minute.
- Clean with a wrung-out cloth in clean water.
- Wipe the surface with a clean, dry cloth.
*NOTE: Stone oil should not be used on ceramic countertops, as the surface is closed and thus does not absorb the oil, which therefore risks leaving a greasy surface.
