Because longevity matters. When products can be used for a longer period of time, the need to replace them is reduced. That’s why we manufacture countertops with a focus on quality and durability—and offer a 30-year warranty in accordance with our current warranty terms.

Confidence in your order

There are many fine words about strategic objectives, but after several years of work to determine how we ensure we are the market’s leading supplier, we kept coming back to the fact that our most important job is to ensure hassle-free countertop for our partners.

For our partners and consultants, hassle-free countertops means that we offer them continuous reporting on our quality and delivery time compliance – both in general and specifically for them as a chain and store. In addition, we always offer training through our HORN Academy, where both new and experienced consultants and fitters can receive tips and tricks for proper advice, care and maintenance as well as general material knowledge.

For you as an end user, we know that unfortunately it's often the countertop that can go wrong in the ordering process.

This is usually due to one of the following challenges:

Material selection

We are a full-service supplier of countertops in all materials, so you have free choice on all shelves - however, it is important to consider which material best suits your needs. If you neglect regular maintenance, a solid wood countertop can become dry and dull to the touch. With laminate, you should remember to use coasters as the material, however easy to maintain, is unfortunately not scratch or heat resistant. Natural stone is beautiful and exclusive - but you can leave stains from colouring foods etc. and you should be aware that no two natural products are the same. Whatever your design preferences, we have a solution among all materials, but we recommend that you click around in our material descriptions to find the material that best suits your needs.

Customisation and mismeasurement

We sell our products through skilled dealers, but as all countertops are made to custom dimensions for your particular kitchen, the risk of incorrect measurements can unfortunately be greater than for other kitchen elements that come in standard dimensions. For more expensive countertops and solutions with odd dimensions, for example, we often offer our safety programmes, where our fitters take care of measuring and installation.

If you experience errors or challenges with your countertop, always contact your chosen kitchen supplier, who will help you further and, if necessary, create a complaint in our system. We process incoming service cases as quickly as possible so that your end result can be just as you expected.

Information

HORN's warranty

HORN’s general warranty is 30 years for countertops delivered after 1 July 2022, valid from the time of delivery and covers manufacturing defects, material defects and functionality.

The warranty for the rest of the product range is as follows:

  • 5-year warranty on sinks and their loading
  • 2-year warranty on welded joints in GetaCore/Corian®.
  • 2-year warranty on interior products, including cutting boards, small tables, cutlery inserts, etc.
