Granite
Granite withstands most cleaning agents. A sponge or brush mixed with water and dishwashing detergent can be used to remove grease and etc.
Marble
Marble is not acid resistant. Acidic products sush as descaling agents cannot be used without leaving damage on the surface. Futhermore, acidic foods and liquids must be removed immediately.
Soap shavings can be used to remove grease and stains.
Stains
Fat from cooking can penetrate natural stone countertops and leave stains. Attempting to remove the grease stain with water may make the problem worse.
Strongly colored liquids and foods can discolour particularly light countertops.
Granite
To remove limescale deposits, use a 5% vinegar, diluted 1:1 with water. Granite tolerates most cleaning agents, but for thorough cleaning, Q-action is recommended (Removes stains from wine, oil etc. Contains caring components that protect and enhance the shine). Cleaning agents with strong acids/bases can permantely damage the plate. Q-action is a powerful soap made to clean, protect and restore the shine of stone countertops.
Marble
Clean with a PH-neutral cleaning agent or special marble products.
